General information

In accordance with our legal obligations, we would like to inform you about the collection and use of your personal data.

When you use our website, personal data is collected about you. This can be done by entering the data yourself – such as your e-mail address. Our system also collects data from you automatically, such as your visit to our website. This is done regardless of which device or software you use to access our website.

Any entry of data by you on our website is voluntary, and you will not be disadvantaged by not disclosing your data. Without certain data, however, it is not possible for us to provide services or conclude contracts. We will inform you about such mandatory data in each case.

On this website, personal data of the user is only collected within the framework of the applicable data protection law, in particular the Basic Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO). The technical terms used in the text are explained in detail in Art. 4 of the DSGVO.

Data processing is permitted under the DSGVO in three cases in particular:

in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a and 7 DSGVO, if you have consented to data processing by us; in each case we will inform you in advance in this data protection declaration and on the occasion of your consent in accordance with Art. 4 No. 11 DSGVO exactly for what purpose and under what circumstances your data will be processed by us;
in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, if the processing of your personal data is necessary for the initiation, conclusion or execution of a contractual relationship;
in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 letter f DSGVO, if, after a weighing of interests, the processing is necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests; this includes in particular our interests in analysing, optimising and securing the offer on our website – this includes in particular an analysis of user behaviour, the creation of profiles for advertising purposes and the storage of access data as well as the use of third party providers.

Inventory data, usage data
Stock data
We collect inventory data (e.g. name, address and e-mail address, any services used) insofar as they are necessary for the establishment, content design or amendment of a contractual relationship between us and the user.

Usage data
We also collect usage data (e.g. visits to the website, interest in products) to enable and invoice the user for the use of services on our website.

We only compile usage data if and insofar as this is necessary for billing purposes. Otherwise, we will create usage data only pseudonymously and only to the extent that you have not objected to this. You can send this objection at any time to the address given in the imprint or to the person responsible named in this data protection declaration.

The legal basis for this data processing is, on the one hand, our legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO in the analysis of the website and its use, and, if applicable, also the legal permission to store data in the context of the initiation of a contractual relationship in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO.

Furthermore, our provider stores information with every use of this website, the so-called server log files, which are automatically transmitted by your browser. These are:
Your IP address
Type and version of your browser
Host name
Time of visit
the page from which you visited our site
Name of the page called up
the exact date of the call, and
the amount of data transferred
This data is only used for statistical purposes and does not allow us to identify you as a user.

Consent
If we ask you for your consent to process your data, we will inform you in clear language and easily accessible about the cases for which you give your consent. Any consent requested by us is voluntary, any advantage you wish to obtain by giving your consent can be obtained without it, just ask us.

For each consent applies that you have the right to revoke at any time a consent given to us to process your personal data. This can be done by an informal message, e.g. via our contact form, an e-mail to the e-mail address given in the imprint or an unsubscribe link (if offered by us). Your revocation does not affect the legality of the data processing carried out up to that point.

Storage duration
Your data will only be stored as long as the purpose of the respective data processing requires it. Further storage is considered above all if this is still necessary for prosecution by us or for our other legitimate interests or if we are legally obliged to retain your data (e.g. within the framework of tax retention periods, which are generally 6 or even 10 years).

Cookies
Cookie hint
Our website uses cookies within the framework of our legitimate interest in a technically perfect online offer and its economically efficient design and optimisation in accordance with Art.6 Para. 1 lit.f DSGVO, so that our offer can be used better, more effectively and more securely. Cookies are text files that are stored on your computer and store certain data about your user behaviour on our site, so that an offer corresponding to your previous use can be made. These may be “session cookies”, which are automatically deleted at the end of your visit to our website. However, there are also cookies that are permanently stored on your computer, provided that you do not delete them. Then it is possible for us to recognize your browser the next time you visit our website and to make you offers that correspond to your previous use of our website.

Your browser enables you to prevent the use of cookies either completely or in individual cases. Please refer to the operating instructions for your browser. You can also delete cookies; we have compiled some instructions for this here:

for Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=de

for Internet Explorer: https://support.microsoft.com/de-de/help/278835/how-to-delete-cookie-files-in-internet-explorer

Blocking cookies can restrict the function of our and other websites you visit.

You can permanently prevent the storage of cookies in your browser by downloading and installing the plugin linked to it. You can find more detailed information on this here.
You can also prevent the use of cookies by third parties by explaining your opt-out on the deactivation page of the Network Advertising Initiative according to the instructions there. You can find a similar offer on this US website.

Users’ rights
You can request information from us at any time free of charge about the personal data we have stored about you. In this case, an identification of your person is required to prevent misuse.

Deletion, correction, restriction

You can demand that we correct (also by supplementing) incorrect data at any time, as well as a restriction of their processing or the deletion of your data. This applies in particular if the purpose of processing has expired, a required consent has been revoked and no other legal basis exists or our data processing is unlawful. We will then immediately correct, block or even delete your personal data within the legal framework.

Objection

ANY PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA THAT WE MAY CARRY OUT IN CONSIDERATION OF YOUR INTERESTS ACCORDING TO ART. 6 ABS. 1 lit. f DSGVO, you may object at any time, if there are reasons for doing so, which result from your particular personal situation.
WE WILL THEN NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR DATA, UNLESS WE CAN PROVE COMPELLING REASONS FOR PROCESSING WORTHY OF PROTECTION WHICH OUTWEIGH THE INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS OF YOU OR THE PROCESSING SERVES TO ASSERT, EXERCISE OR DEFEND LEGAL CLAIMS ON OUR PART.

Data transmission

You may request us to transfer the data stored about you in machine-readable form.

Complaint

If you feel that your rights have been violated by our data processing, you can file a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority (you will find a list of authorities here).

Amendment of the data protection declaration

Should a change in the data protection declaration become necessary for legal or factual reasons, we will update this page accordingly. No changes will be made to the consents given by the user.

Data input

Encryption

When you enter data on our website, whether on a contact form, during registration, logging in or for payment purposes, the website on which you enter the data is encrypted. This prevents third parties from reading what data you enter. You can recognize the encryption by the lock symbol in your browser and by the fact that the address line begins with “https” instead of just “http”.

Contact form

The basis for this storage is our legitimate interest in communication with interested users in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO and, in the case of contract enquiries, also the storage of contract data in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b DSGVO.

Your data will remain stored as long as it is necessary to process the enquiry, in particular for the purpose of contract fulfilment/processing, for legal prosecution by us or for our other legitimate interests or if we are legally obliged to retain your data (e.g. within the framework of tax retention periods).

Your data will remain stored as long as it is necessary to process the enquiry, in particular for the purpose of contract fulfilment/processing, for legal prosecution by us or for our other legitimate interests or if we are legally obliged to retain your data (e.g. within the framework of tax retention periods).

Recall Please

On our service page you can order a callback by one of our service employees. We ask here
– Your first name, because we like to address you personally,
– your phone number to call you back and
– Your e-mail address, because we send you e-mail confirmations of your requests.

The entry of your data is encrypted, so that third parties cannot read your data during entry.

The basis for this storage is our legitimate interest in communication with users who are themselves interested in it in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO and, in the case of contract enquiries, also the storage of contract data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO.

Your data will be stored for 6 months after completion of processing, so that in the event of subsequent service requests, the service results already obtained can be accessed.

social media

Social Media Plugins~General Information

Social media plugins usually cause every visitor to a site to be immediately registered by these services with his IP address and his further browsing behavior to be logged. This can happen even if you do not click the button.

To prevent this, we use the Shariff method. Here, our social media buttons establish direct contact between the social network and you only when you click on the respective share button. If you are already registered with a social network, this is done on Facebook and Google+ without another window. On Twitter, a pop-up window appears where you can still edit the text of the tweet.

This allows you to publish our content on social networks without the need to create complete surfing profiles. The Shariff method is already used by many websites to protect their users.

But at the latest when they access the social media platform, your data is processed there. The Social Media Platform will usually store cookies on your device or even save your usage behavior to your account, especially if you are logged in yourself. The social media platform can use your data to analyze your user behavior and use it for (interest-based) advertising. This can lead to advertisements being displayed to you inside and outside the social media platform. Please make it clear to yourself whether you are willing to accept this and only use a social media platform if you have informed yourself sufficiently about the data processing there and agree to it (this applies in particular if you yourself have not yet used it) – we have included links to the data protection declarations of the social media platforms in each case.

Facebook

Within the scope of our legitimate interest in a technically flawless online offer and its economically efficient design and optimization in accordance with Art.6 para. 1 lit.f DSGVO we use plugins of the social network of Facebook Inc. 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA. By using the Shariff method, Facebook only learns about your IP address and your visit to our website after you have clicked the button. If you activate the plugin while you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign your usage to your user account.

In this way your data is transferred to the USA, but Facebook is registered with privacy shield and is obliged to comply with EU data protection regulations. You can find more information about your rights arising from this at http://ec.europa.eu/justice/data-protection/document/citizens-guide_en.pdf.

We have no knowledge of and no influence on the possible collection and use of your data by Facebook. You can find more information in Facebook’s privacy policy at http://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php. In addition, we refer to our general description in this privacy policy for the general handling of cookies and their deactivation as well as for the transfer of data to third parties, especially to the USA.

Social Media Links~General Information

We refer with links to our offered social media appearances. Unlike social media plugins, links do not lead to the social media platform already knowing about your visit when you call up our site. Like any link, however, your data will be processed by the social media platform at the latest when you click on the link. The social media platform will usually store cookies on your device or even save your usage behavior for your account, especially if you are logged in yourself. The social media platform can use your data to analyze your user behavior and use it for (interest-based) advertising. This can lead to advertisements being displayed to you inside and outside the social media platform. Please make it clear to yourself whether you want to accept this and only use a social media platform if you have informed yourself sufficiently about the data processing there and agree to it (this applies in particular if you yourself have not used it so far) – we have included links to the data protection declarations of the social media platform in each case.

Facebook

Our site uses links to our appearance in the social network Facebook of Facebook Inc. 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA. It is just a normal link, so when you visit our site, Facebook does not know about your visit to our site. However, when you click on the link, you will be redirected to Facebook, which will also tell Facebook that you visited our site.

As a result, your data is transferred to the USA, but Facebook is registered with privacy shield and is obliged to comply with EU data protection regulations. You can find more information about your rights under these regulations at http://ec.europa.eu/justice/data-protection/document/citizens-guide_en.pdf.

We have no knowledge of, and no influence on, the collection and use of your data by Facebook, which is possible after clicking on the link. If necessary, you can find more detailed information in Facebook’s privacy policy at http://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php.

Youtube (two clicks)

Within the scope of our legitimate interest in a technically flawless online offer and its economically efficient design and optimization in accordance with Art.6 para. 1 lit.f DSGVO, we use the provider YouTube LLC , 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, represented by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, for the integration of videos. Normally, when you visit a page with embedded videos, your IP address is sent to YouTube and cookies are installed on your computer. However, we use a two click solution, but Google will not know your IP address and your visit to our website until you click the button. If you click the plugin while you are logged in to YouTube, Google can assign your usage to your user account.

This will transfer your data to the USA, but Google is registered with privacy shield and is obliged to comply with the EU data protection regulations. You can find more information about your rights under these rules at http://ec.europa.eu/justice/data-protection/document/citizens-guide_en.pdf .

We have no knowledge of and no influence on the collection and use of your data by Google. You can find further information in Google’s privacy policy at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/. In addition, we refer to our general description in this privacy policy for the general handling and deactivation of cookies.

Google Maps

Within the scope of our legitimate interest in a technically flawless online offer and its economically efficient design and optimisation in accordance with Art.6 para. 1 lit.f DSGVO, we use the Google Maps API, a map service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”), to display an interactive map.

We have installed a two click solution to secure your data. This means that Google does not learn about your visit when you visit our website, but only when you actually use the Google map service.

Through the use of Google Maps, information about your use of this website (including your IP address) can be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there, especially through active Java scripts. Google has subjected itself to the Privacy Shield Framework. You can find more information about your rights from this at http://ec.europa.eu/justice/data-protection/document/citizens-guide_en.pdf. For further information on the use of your data by Google, please refer to the privacy policy of Google https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

If you do not want your data to be transmitted, you can deactivate the execution of Java scripts in your browser or install a blocker that prevents the execution of Java scripts (e.g. https://noscript.net). However, we would like to point out that this can impair the use of our and other websites.

Trading platforms

Digistore24 Partner Program

We participate in the Digistore24 partner program of Digistore24 GmbH, St.-Godehard-Straße 32, 31139 Hildesheim, Germany, within the scope of our legitimate interest in a commercial online offer in accordance with Art.6 para. 1 lit.f DSGVO.
On our website you will find advertising for offers which are distributed by Digistore24 and links to the Digistore24 offer. If you click on an advertisement or such a link from our website, Digistore24 recognizes by cookies, which are stored on your computer, that you have clicked from our website. We receive an advertising cost reimbursement for this (Affiliate commission).
You can inform yourself about the use of your data by Digistore24 in the Digistore24 data protection declaration.
You have the possibility to set or completely prevent the setting of cookies on your computer. For this we refer to our general representation to Cookies above in this data security explanation.

Our Fanpage(s)~General information

Besides our website we also use fan page(s) on social media platforms. After we have already explained the data processing on our website to you above and after we have made sure that not only your call to our website is already sent to the social media platform, we would like to inform you in accordance with the ECJ ruling of 5 June 2018 on social media presences
about the data processing when visiting our Social Media Fanpage(s):

We present ourselves and our offers on the basis of our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 letter f DSGVO in timely customer communication and for the purpose of advertising and our public relations on Social Media Fanpage(s).

You can regularly access our Social Media Fanpage(s) on the Internet, regardless of whether you have created a user account on the corresponding platform yourself or not. In both cases, however, your data will be processed by the social media platform.

Every time you access the social media platform, your IP address is recorded and saved. In addition, a cookie is usually set on your page, which stores your visit and other data about your visit to the social media platform.

If you are also logged on to the social media platform itself, your visit is also recorded by cookies or other technical means and assigned to your user account. This enables the social media platform to regularly analyse your user behaviour. A user profile is created with your interests, which is used by the social media platform to provide you with a user experience based on your interests, but above all to display interest-based advertising inside and outside the social media platform – if necessary even across different devices. Your data can also be used for market research. For details, we refer you to the following data protection declarations of the social media platform(s) we use.

We may also use the data of the social media platform on a regular basis to enable you to use our fan page in accordance with your interests or to address you with advertising.

If you interact with our fan page and are logged on to the corresponding social media platform, we can also recognize your user profile and view your content according to the terms of use of the social media site.
If you do not wish this, we refer to our above description under the heading “Cookies” for the general handling of cookies and their deactivation. There we have listed general information on how you can prevent or restrict the storage of cookies on your devices. You will find further information on the corresponding social media platform below.
